Bellz Magnetic Game Review ~ Tested by Jess & Bodhi

Spin master have made a wonderful travel size family game, The game is simple ( or so it seems ) picking up bells with a magnet how hard could that be right ?

The answer to that ? pretty hard ! The magnet want is really strong and if you are not careful then you will end up with more bells then you need , The aim of the game is to pick one of the four colours and to only pick up these if you pick up any of the other players colours then you turn is over !

The game comes with play Matt / x40 different sized coloured bells and the magic magnet want. The game Matt folds shut with a zip so you can keep the bells inside making this a perfect travel game no batteries or plugs or Wifi needed! only thing i would worry about is losing the bells.

We played this game as a family of 3 Bodhi who is nearly 5 enjoyed playing but he took a few goes to get the hang of only picking up 1 or 2 bells at a time rather then trying to get loads in one go ( reminds me of the tortoise and the hard story )

We also played " who can get the most bells " with out worrying about the colours this could be a good way to play with younger children. Hubby is keen to play this game on a games night with friends and turn it into a drinking game ( men don't ask me )

over all i found this game fun and we all enjoyed playing it and it would suit a family based play or a older group of children its aimed at children 6 and over and this is the right age if they are playing without adults.

we are looking forward to playing this over Christmas when we have family over, It would also make a perfect gift for a family or friend you can buy it from amazon for £17 ( price may change  )

We have been sent this game to play an review for spin master but all views and words are that of my own. Thank you to Spin master for the game.

froggy match it ( review & give away )

Froggy Match-it is a fun, educational game for children who have just started to read.  Typically, it is aimed at 5 to 6 year- olds who have learnt a lot of the sounds that single letters make and are starting to work out how to read short words. Body loves phonics and is always reading and learning, Its refreshing to have a game for him to play on the iPad that isn't just mindless and pointless.
As you can see from my video he is starting to spell the words out and sound out the letters, If left alone he does like a cheat a little but he does enjoy the game and i don't have any 'mum guilt' by letting him play it.
the website is full of information and have free resources that you can download and print out to use as you like. the game as three different levels of play , the first is the one you've seen Bodhi playing were the child has to over lay the word over the matching image the first few rounds keeps it simple by only have one of each letter per picture but as the child progresses the words get harder Bodhi really enjoys this tho as he gets bored of simple games. The second game is using the key pad to type the word out this is something Bodhi likes to do on the iPad anyways and in this day and age typing is a core life skill no ? and the third game is dragging the letters into place to spell out the word.

froggy match is a fun learning game and the great thing about having it as the full version for £3.99 is that no pop ups this is one thing that really really bugs me on some games that Bodhi plays on my iPad he is a smart cookie and can now get into the app store and if he knew my password I'm sure id have a huge iTunes bill !

Bodhi's play enjoyment will only grow as he learns more, i personally feel that this game is really helping with his Phonics and spelling its a joy to see his mind working and to hear him learning.

file:///Users/GueThe first level of Froggy Match-it is also available as a separate app, free of charge.

Froggy Match-it is £3.99 in the UK for the download. This and the FREE version are available from the App Store and Google Play now.
I have a code for one of your lovely lot to get the full game of froggy match it for free! enter below and good luck.

Randomise Game Review

from the moment Randomise dropped onto my door Matt i have been itching to play it, the perfect time time over the Easter weekend with my inlaws! we teamed up boy V girls rules are very easy to follow even four year old Bodhi understood the basics of the game, we grabbed paper and pens ( not needed if you are going to play act & describe ) this is a perfect travel game for car/train/plane etc the size of the game is also very compact so can be popped into a bag for ease

the 1st few rounds we all stuck to describing just to get a feel for just how odd some of the outcomes could be " bubbly ant having a sword fight " between the laughing and the miss guesses the points soon started adding up and i felt brave so i gave draw a try.

I was very disappointed that no one guessed i had drawn a thin moose looking in the mirror!! the mother in law went down a father Christmas route and even with the arrows she just wasn't getting it ! next four year old Bodhi took his turn and he wanted to draw for Daddy and Grandad.

With 45 seconds to spare they guessed that Bodhi was drawing a tall sheep having a bath! he was so pleased, we all really enjoyed playing this game i am looking forward to playing it again with different groups of friends and family, The Randomise Game is £9.99 from  amazon I think this is a fair price as it has endless play and hours of enjoyment to be had. They are very active one social media and a real fun bunch of people! why not pick up a desk of randomise cards for yourself and see if you can do any better then my moose!
